Getting back to 9to5, Why structure and routine can be important?
I have been freelancing for quite some years, Recently I got a position I could not refuse.
One thing I encourage freelancers is to keep fishing in the job pool. I do it from time to time, but recently I got a Job Offer I could not refuse. You may be knowing by now that I am an Educator. I love teaching and coaching people to learn better.
But when you are freelancing you are not just teaching you are hunting for leads, and branding yourself and everything thinkable. It is exhilarating and keeps you motivated. You begin to see your potential. But there can be situations when things need different solutions.
Disruptions and keeping the fire burning
Freelancing can be difficult, but I see it more like a lesson in Self-exploration. You begin to explore opportunities and see things work differently. You see the benefits and risks involved.
But there can be disruptions, For me, it was realizing that I needed to pursue some structure. As someone who invited a new member to the Dias clan, I needed a structure to build myself as an educator and give quality rather than quantity time to my family.
Sometimes we can spend the entire day with someone but hardly bring in the spark you are looking for. I would parent my kids and do the routine Stay at home dad thing, but I realized that I needed to sharpen my axe.
I got some help from the neighbourhood and it was God-sent that things are running smoothly. Of course, a Supportive Wife and Parents made this transition smooth.
Looking ahead, What about blogging…
I won’t leave blogging ever. I think I would start one even in the afterlife. I think that self-help is something you can adopt whether you are an employee or an employer.
It is not about your career it is about you. I have seen my life get more structured. I now bring the same enthusiasm of a Freelancer to my job. You may ask what I do. I create courses on Management and Marketing.
I think Management should be thought in Schools like other sciences. I hope you enjoyed this little post.
Let me know what you think about getting back to 9to5 and using a job to structure your life.
See you in the next post. Ciao!
